Jun. 20th, 2019 08:04 pmHow long he had watched this timeline, how long he had studied it, when he first located it. Carefully he'd documented the happenings within, so quickly making the connections between this one, distant reality and his own. He quickly, so quickly, began to understand the monumental importance of this place, this alternate Hyrule.
Where it all split apart.
Access to the timeline could perhaps provide him access to the others, access to allies, to power he could still yet use. Why settle after all, with being merely the king of light and shadow? Why not try and claim all of time?
Why not?
He knew the risks. No matter what is timing, the King would be stripped of the Triforce of Power upon entering this place. After all, there was already a... 'rightful' owner of the gift of power. He would have to reclaim it, and loathe as he was to admit it, it wasn't something he could do alone.
He had a plan for the fastest, most efficient way of regaining the Triforce. He wasn't going to appreciate it, though. Swallowing his pride, even only pretending to, was never exactly easy for him.
He'd arrive without warning, the sudden surge of power rippling through the castle as he tore through the veil, feeling the energy of the Triforce ebb all too uncomfortably fast from him as he stepped boldly, calmly into the very throne room of Hyrule Castle.
